MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Médecins du Monde Canada

Active in Canada and 75 countries around the world, Médecins du Monde (MDM) is an independent international movement of tireless activists who care about, witness and support social change. MDM delivers programming related to working with victims of crises and conflicts, promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health, Harm Reduction and fighting HIV, and caring for migrant and displaced populations. In addition to serving people in need in Canada, MDM Canada currently has operations underway in Bangladesh, Haiti, Colombia, Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq, including multiple humanitarian operations. Their vision is a world where healthcare is truly a universal right.

CAMPAIGN SPOTLIGHT

August 19th is World Humanitarian Day, a day dedicated to humanitarian personnel and those who have lost their lives working for humanitarian causes. CanWaCH stands in solidarity with all current and past humanitarian workers on this symbolic day. Follow the campaign #NotATarget.
