Register for the Canadian Partnership for Women and Children’s Health (CanWaCH) annual conference!
Beyond 2020: Canadian Global Health and Development April 18-19, 2018
11 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario
The ‘must-attend’ conference for any Canadian organization or individual planning global health and development projects and programs for beyond 2020!
The global health and development landscape has changed. New 'lenses' have emerged to guide us in shaping, evaluating, and executing health-based development interventions. These lenses include key domestic shifts outlined in the Feminist International Assistance Policy, and new international frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals, the Women Deliver Deliver for Good campaign, and the Every Woman Every Child Global Strategy.
- Is your organization considering and/or working on the implementation of the federal Feminist International Assistance Policy for your organization?
- Is your organization planning or drafting program and project proposals for beyond 2020?
- Is your organization planning monitoring and evaluation activities for your organization?
Register today for the CanWaCH 2018 Annual Conference where we will put it all into ‘focus’ by reflecting on current programs to see Where We’ve Arrived and by putting on our new lenses to view Where We Need to Be!
Global Affairs Canada representatives will be part of the Beyond 2020 Conference and conversations about the future of Canadian global health and international development programming.
Call for Contributors: Showcase your organization’s leadership at Canada’s annual flagship conference on women and children’s health and rights.
We explored themes, topics and more during the CanWaCH Member Brainstorming Webinar in late November and we received enthusiastic interest in our call for nominations for our conference committees (Planning, Program, Communications and Youth Leaders). Those committees have been hard at work to deliver another premium CanWaCH event in April.
