How the epidemics of HIV and Tuberculosis Impacted My Life
Webinar open to everyone who has an interest in global health, advocacy and ending global poverty.
About the speaker:
Loyce Maturu is 25 years old and was born with HIV. Before the age of 10, she lost both her parents and her brother. Loyce had a difficult time growing up with HIV and accepting her status but is now a powerful advocate, for children, adolescents and young people living with HIV. Loyce will talk about how the epidemics of HIV and tuberculosis have impacted her life, and the opportunity Canada has this year to help ensure these epidemics are ended around the world.
