As part of the CanWaCH mandate to convene and facilitate responsive learning opportunities for members, we'd like to invite you to learn more about the Thrive Agenda, a collective vision for the future of Canadian leadership in women, adolescent and children’s health and rights around the world.
The Canadian government and Canadians are having an impact – they are transforming gender relations, providing life-changing health interventions and addressing the systematic barriers holding women and girls back from reaching their full potential. The Thrive Agenda is a holistic platform that places the woman, adolescent or child at the centre and layers the interventions they need throughout their lives around them.
We're inviting CanWaCH members to a one-hour virtual open forum to learn more about the Thrive Agenda and to interact with each other and with the organizations who played an integral role in its development. Before you attend, we invite you to watch this video from the CanWaCH Acting Executive Director, Julia Anderson, for a briefing on this exciting initiative and the collaborative process that made it happen.
For more information on the Thrive Agenda, please contact Megan Aikens, Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor. Please note that questions can be asked in the official language of your choice (FR/EN).
