Director, Stakeholder Engagement

Charmaine is CanWaCH’s Director of Stakeholder Engagement. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership and advice on stakeholder engagement, government relations, advocacy, policy, public engagement and communications, and for leading the team that delivers on these activities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, with a specialization in economics, and a professional certificate in Management Skills, both from Carleton University. Charmaine has had a dynamic career, serving in a variety of positions in the public and non-profit sectors, including serving with Parliamentarians in the House of Commons and Cabinet. She is also a passionate volunteer and organizer for events in her community. When she is not pursuing her love to visit new places near and far, she moonlights as a sound technician for a country music band.
