As the Project Explorer Officer, Imaeyen is responsible for the organization and management of the Project Explorer database, which showcases the breadth and depth of Canadian contributions to global health and gender equality. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Imaeyen’s career has focused on advocating for maternal and child health in areas of nutrition and pregnancy-related health outcomes, and women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights. She has worked in government and private sectors in Nigeria, Ghana and Canada, and most recently in the NGO sector where she volunteered as the Maternal and Child Nutrition Advisor on a CARE Canada project in Ethiopia. In her spare time, she enjoys all things food and entertainment, including binge watching her favourite shows and spending time with family and friends.
