Megan is CanWaCH’s Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor and is responsible for providing strategic direction, issues management and stakeholder engagement advice in relation to all orders of government and other key stakeholders. She holds Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University. Megan’s dynamic career has included positions with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy and most recently, she supported the Algonquins of Ontario in their negotiation efforts towards a modern-day Treaty. She was also elected as a municipal Councillor in the Town of Deep River and served from 2014-2018. For the past decade, Megan has been an active volunteer both at home and in the field with Floors for Families, a small group dedicated to replacing earthen floors with cement in homes located in Yamasa, Dominican Republic. A passionate traveller, Megan is most at home when she is exploring a new corner of the world with her husband and two young sons.
